Summer time fun Flourishes in Doncaster

There was plenty of free family fun in the sun as Doncaster residents visited the Flourish summer fayre at Woodfield Park in Balby.

Children enjoyed playing in the sandpit, on the bouncy castle, getting their faces painted and the magic show. There were also craft and gift stalls to visit. Plants and produce grown in the historical grounds of St Catherine’s House were also on sale. Food and refreshments were available throughout the day at the newly refurbished Café Flourish, plus much more.

Steve Gillman, Flourish Enterprises’ Operations Manager, said: “The sun was shining all day and it was a fantastic event. Thank you to all the residents who came along to join us for the day. I would also like to mention and thank all our volunteers and staff who worked very hard to make this event such a success.”

St Catherine’s House and Woodfield Park is run by Flourish Enterprises, which is supported by the neighbouring Rotherham Doncaster and South Humber NHS Foundation Trust – known for short as RDaSH.

Flourish Enterprises provides work and vocational opportunities to people who need support to get back into education or employment.
