Lots of free fun in the sun

There was lots of fun in the sun at a summer fayre held in Balby recently.

Doncaster folk turned out in force to visit the fayre held at St Catherine’s House and in the surrounding Woodfield Park, off Tickhill Road.

Fun of offer included a giant sandpit, lots of rides for the kids, dancing shows, a craft fayre, fairground rides and visitors could also visit the garden centre and tea room, where people who need support to get back into work or education gain confidence and learn new skills.

St Catherine’s House and Woodfield Park is run by Flourish Enterprises.

Wendy Parkes, Flourish Enterprises’ Operations Manager, said: “It was a fantastic day. I want to thank residents who came along and enjoyed the fun and the sun and also our volunteers and staff – without them we couldn’t make such successful events happen.”
